This specially selected single cask from Ben Nevis distillery was distilled in 1996 and aged in a sherry butt. A stone’s throw away from the River Lochy, on the outskirts of Fort William, Ben Nevis creates a full, fruity spirit and is one of the last distilleries to still use brewer’s yeast._x000D_

Nose : initial aromas of toffee and butter candy develop into a medley of rum-soaked prunes, dates and figs. The flavours gradually build in intensity as cocoa nibs and creamy coffee-liqueur notes tempt you further. _x000D_ _x000D_
Palate : full-on flavours of rich dark chocolate, mulled spices, cloves and espresso notes give way to an oily texture and subtle tannins. These add complexity and body to deep and earthy tones of sweet raisins and vanilla sponge cake. _x000D_
Overall : an end note of juicy tiramisu with berry fruits.
