This Auchentoshar was distilled in 1999 and aged for 24 years in first-fill Sherry casks before being bottled at its natural strength of 55.60%. This Lowland single malt has a fresh, aromatic profile with pastry, orange and vanilla flavours. Auchentoshan produces the Lowlands' most iconic single malt. The practice of triple distillation (very rare in Scotland) and the very high alcohol content of the distillate produce a fine, subtle, smooth and elegant single malt, most often marked by notes of herbs and citrus fruit. Signatory Vintage unveils a new series, 'Symington's Choice', showcasing the most exceptional casks from the Pitlochry cellars.
