AMRUT Cask Aged Indian Dry Gin

True to its pioneering and creative spirit, the renowned Indian distillery Amrut unveils a new, very limited edition: Nilgiris gin in a Cask Aged version. This gin has been aged for a short period in peated and then unpeated Amrut whisky casks, to accentuate the flavours of the original Nilgiris while expressing the casks influences. The result is an explosion of pine, marmalade, spices, floral notes and more. It can be enjoyed both dry and as a cocktail (tastes the best in a Negroni, Highball or Cardinale). Botanicals: juniper berries, coriander, lemongrass, angelica root, betel leaves, orris root, cinnamon, mace, nutmeg, Nilgiris tea. The Nilgiris ("Blue Mountains") are a mountain range in the Western Ghats of southern India, home to a variety of indigenous plants used in the making of this expression.
