This official version of Aberlour 8 Year Old was launched on the Italian market in the 1970s, a particularly dynamic market for single malts. Bottled (75cl) at 50% by its owners at the time, Campbell's Distillery Ltd, a company bought by the Pernod Ricard group at the same time, this young version reflected the early maturity of sherry-aged malts at the time.
