WHITE PEAK 7 ans 2018 English Single Malt Elixir Distillers

Situated in a former wire works along the river in the Derwent Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site, White Peak distillery combines industrial heritage with local brewing traditions to create unique English single malts. Distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2025, this small batch of 4 casks matured in new bourbon barrels. Using brewer’s yeast combined with long, controlled fermentation and slow distillation enhances the whisky’s texture and complexity. The whisky opens with a burst of fresh orchard fruits and melon. The palate is indulgent and dessert-like, with baked lemon, crème brûlée, gingerbread, apple crumble, and honey cake.
