This first edition of Ballykilcavan has been distilled from barley grown by David Walsh-Kemmis in County Laois, next to an ancient woodland, on one of the best terroirs for growing barley for malting. Distilled in 2016, bottled at 50%, without colouring or chill filtration, this 100% Irish Single Malt develops a particularly fruity character, with expressive sultana and cherry notes, accompanied by toffee aromas.
