WATERFORD SFO Bannow Island Edition 1.2

This second edition of Bannow Island has been distilled from barley grown by Ed Harpur on the far south coast of County Wexford, where the sandy soils swept by the iodised Atlantic winds make up a unique and demanding terroir. Distilled in 2016, bottled at 50%, without colouring or chill filtration, this 100% Irish Single Malt develops a rounder character than edition 1.1 thanks to the greater use of natural sweet wine casks, while retaining the malty, fruity style of this clay and sandy terroir.
