TAMDHU 19 years 2007 Refill Sherry Decadent Drinks

Founded in 1897 in Knockando, at the heart of Speyside, Tamdhu produces a generous, fruit-driven spirit particularly well suited to sherry cask maturation. Its character typically combines ripe fruit, malt, honey and spice, gaining additional depth and texture with age. Refill sherry casks offer a more restrained influence, allowing the underlying distillery character to remain clearly expressed. Selected by Decadent Drinks for its Decadent Drams range, this 2007 vintage Tamdhu aged 19 years matured in a Refill Sherry Cask. Rather than dominating the spirit, the cask adds layers of dried fruit, candied citrus and spice alongside orchard fruits and honey. A balanced and mature expression of Tamdhu, focused on finesse rather than sheer sherry intensity.
