Description
Talisker Storm is a blend of Talisker’s finest, different-aged casks. Together, they enhance the intensity of Talisker’s smoky, maritime character. Talisker Storm is bottled at 45.8%, a percentage which allows it to show itself in its best light.
Tasting notes
Nose : discreet but spicy on the nose, with a hint of ash#P,& fresh and increasingly complex#P,& developing into a malted sweetness and very ripe red fruits. Smoky notes accompanied by the usual salt and pepper.
Palate : soft and rich, it becomes increasingly spicy, revealing notes of smoke. Well-balanced, it is soft, salty and smoky. Gains body with the addition of a little water.
Overall : with good length, it is soft and balanced with subtle notes of peat embers.
