Nose : Dry and ample. After a slow start, the first impression is fresh: slightly maritime, like sea breeze, rocks and oyster shells, on an earthy, mineral base with a hint of sphagnum moss. The addition of a drop of water develops the maritime and subtle spice notes.
Palate : Smooth and creamy. Powerful taste, sweet at first and salty in the middle, a striking mineral effect as in wines grown on granite soils, followed by an abundance of peppery spices. Slightly drying overall, with a fruity touch of apple and pear.
Overall : Long. Developing lots of spice, with a refreshing effect of Sichuan pepper in the aftertaste.
