Desert Gin is crafted in the arid and untamed deserts of Utah, USA, where Juniperus Osteosperma thrives in extreme conditions, developing unique aromas shaped by the desert climate. Harvesting begins in September, when the desert sun has infused the berries with their peak aromatic intensity.
Beyond juniper, this gin is enriched with fascinating wild botanicals, including Sagebrush (Artemisia Tridentata) and White Sage, all hand-harvested by local experts who understand the secrets of this unforgiving land.
Distilled using the London Dry method, it preserves the dry, resinous, and earthy character of Utah juniper, which blends harmoniously with the herbaceous, bitter, slightly astringent, and smoky notes of Sagebrush and White Sage.
The result is an exceptional gin that captures the essence of a rugged and inhospitable landscape, reflecting the raw beauty of the American desert.

Closer to the producer

In a world where most spirits are created in controlled environments, Selvatiq follows a different path. Spirits are crafted exclusively from 100% wild botanicals, hand-harvested in some of the planet’s most remote and extreme ecosystems. Each of the three gins features a distinctive wild juniper species—shaped by Himalayan altitudes,
Mediterranean winds, or desert extremes. More than simple spirits, these gins are pure expressions of terroir, distilled with profound respect for nature, people, and place. The approach supports sustainable harvesting, fair compensation for local communities, and the preservation of fragile ecosystems.
