ROSEBANK 12 ans Italien White & Red Label

Official bottling of the Rosebank distillery, aged for 12 years and bottled for Zenith Import and the Italian market. Closed in 1993 by its owners United Distillers (Diageo), Rosebank is today the most highly-rated Lowlands distillery. Rarely seen in a handful of distilleries, including Macallan, Ardbeg and Laphroaig, official and trade versions are, without distinction, equally sought-after. Thus, in 2019, three years after its launch, the Rosebank True Love edition from The Roses range (negociant Speciality Drinks), has far surpassed the rating of the official Rosebank 20 Year Old Zenith Import version (1980s), until then the benchmark in the field. In September 2017, the brand and remaining stock were acquired by Ian Macleod Distillers, who in January 2019 obtained permission to renovate and reopen the Rosebank distillery, which has been done since summer 2023.
