From the north of Scotland to the south coast of England, Spring Release 2023 from independent bottler Berry Bros. & Rudd showcases the wealth and breadth of distilling talent to be found on British shores. This is the first time Berry Bros. & Rudd has bottled a rum from the Portsmouth distillery, providing a glimpse into the UK's thriving rum scene.
Aged for three years in an old bourbon cask, this rum stands out clearly and could easily be mistaken for an older Caribbean cousin. Vanilla character is overlaid with rich citrus and candied fruit, resulting in a balanced, classy rum with mouthfeel and a comforting lingering finish.
