OLD SKY 14 years Sherry Butt Decadent Drinks

Founded in 1830 on the shores of Loch Harport, Talisker is the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye. Its single malt has a highly distinctive identity, combining peat smoke, maritime character and peppery notes. This powerful structure, complemented by citrus and ripe fruit, provides an excellent foundation for sherry cask maturation, adding richness without overshadowing its island character. Selected by Decadent Drinks under the Old Skye name, this 14-year-old Talisker matured in a Sherry Butt. The cask brings a darker and more generous dimension to the distillery’s profile, with dried fruits, candied orange and cocoa meeting sea spray, pepper and smoke. The result balances sherry richness with maritime character, while the peat remains present yet beautifully integrated.
