Opened in 2017 on the Isle of Raasay, between the Isle of Skye and Scotland’s west coast, Raasay Distillery belongs to a new generation of island distilleries. Its spirit combines fruit, texture and maritime character, with production notably encompassing both peated and unpeated distillates. This island identity is expressed through fresh fruit, cereals, spice and subtle mineral notes. Selected by Decadent Drinks under the Old Raasay name, this 2018 vintage aged 8 years matured in a 1st Fill Barrel. The active cask brings vanilla, honey and pastry-like notes while allowing the freshness of the spirit to remain at the forefront. Orchard fruits, citrus and spice combine with a subtle maritime dimension in a youthful, generous and precise expression.
