This single malt arouses curiosity and frustration as it has become so rare, especially in the last two years. It is the most peaty of all whiskies, though! The Comus version aged in casks from Château Yquem was not at all peaty. Be that as it may, this single cask 897 is peaty. In this, it successfully achieves the goal it set itself: to delight die-hard fans of this Bruichladdich-produced single malt.
