A Macallan 10 year old sherry cask bottled at cask strength in the 2000s. This Macallan, now no longer produced, has appeared in various guises over the decades. When Macallan recovered its bottling rights from Campbell, Hope & King in the early 1980s, it added a 10 year old “100 Proof” or “Full Proof” to the range, found in Italian imports from Giovinetti & Figli, followed by “Cask Strength” versions in the 2000s, which this particular bottling is one of the last examples of.
