From the very first nose, the stage is set. Laphroaig offers ashy smoke, slightly dry peat and white fruit (grapes, pear). The palate is radically peaty/smoky/ashy, with notes of dark chocolate and the spices (pepper, ginger) so dear to Laphroaig. The finish is enhanced by a layer of vanilla.
