LAGAVULIN 12 ans Special release 2013

A limited cuvée much appreciated by enthusiasts, Lagavulin 12-year-old Natural Cask Strength is released each year at the same time as the other bottlings in the Special Releases range. Bottled at cask strength, without reduction and without chill filtration, it is a very appetising and invigorating malt. At first, you have the impression of dealing with a rather reserved member of the Lagavulin family. Yet it soon opens up and becomes more expressive after adding a dash of water. Intense notes of pine and the acridity of the smoke call for it to be enjoyed with lean but intensely flavoured dishes.
