The twenty casks in question, carefully selected by Kilchoman founder Anthony Wills, embody the unique flavour profile of Islay's only independent, family-run farm distillery, and characterize two decades of commitment to craftsmanship and the local farm-distillery model.
This second bottling in the series is a 14-year-old aged in ex-sherry casks.
Slightly Peated
Nose : Fresh and spicy with bold BBQ smoke, black pepper, and rich dried fruits.
Palate : Intense, with warming spices and dried dates on the palate. A touch dark chocolate and herbal liquorice balancing the spice.
Overall : Long and full of flavour, with lingering sweet spices, rich BBQ meats and subtle integrated peat smoke.
