KARUIZAWA 1999-2000 Colours - Sky Blue

This new series "The Masterpiece in Eight" focuses on the rarest of Japanese distilleries, Karuizawa. Located at the foot of Mount Asama, northwest of Tokyo, the distillery has been the source of legend since its closure in 2000. The series includes 8 bottlings from single casks distilled in 1999 and 2000. This "Sky Blue" version was aged in Sherry Butt before being bottled at a natural degree of 48.5%. Taiwan's Spirits Shop Selection has quickly established an international reputation thanks to the meticulous selections made by Eric Huang, one of Asia's leading whisky experts and an avid collector.
