The store soon won the Royal Warrant, awarded by the King of England to his best suppliers. In 1831, the young English aristocrat Brooks bought the boutique, which became Justerini & Brooks. In the early 20th century, master blender Charlie Julian perfected the perfectly balanced J&B Rare blend. It was Eddie Tatham who gave J&B its international reputation, which is still very strong today: J&B is the 5th best-selling blend in the world.
Nose : Light and fruity. Aromas of apple, pear and a touch of vanilla.
Palate : Soft and balanced. Flavors of malt, honey and hints of hazelnut.
Overall : Elegant. With subtle sweetness and a hint of woody spice on the finish.
