J & B Rare

The J&B brand was created in 1749 by the Italian Justerini, who opened an exceptional spirits boutique in London. The store soon won the Royal Warrant, awarded by the King of England to his best suppliers. In 1831, the young English aristocrat Brooks bought the boutique, which became Justerini & Brooks. In the early 20th century, master blender Charlie Julian perfected the perfectly balanced J&B Rare blend. It was Eddie Tatham who gave J&B its international reputation, which is still very strong today: J&B is the 5th best-selling blend in the world.
