Hennessy Bras Armé Cognac was bottled in the 1960s and imported into Italy by Gancia in Canelli. Hennessy was founded in 1765 by an Irishman, Richard Hennessy, a Catholic emigrant who fled English oppression. Today it is one of the world's leading cognac merchants. Bras Armé is in fact the equivalent of a Trois Étoiles cognac, aged for at least two years in oak casks. Its young age gives it a fruity, seductive character, even if the richer, chocolate notes are not absent.amain Pale & Dry was bottled in the 1980s and imported to Italy by Barone Amerigo Sagna & Figli. Delamain was founded in 1824 by the descendants of cognac merchants, the Delamains, and their cousins, the Roullets. All Delamain cognacs come from Grande Champagne, the most prestigious cru in the appellation, as does this Pale & Dry, the recipe for which was developed in 1920. It was aged in red French oak barrels in the Delamain cellars on the banks of the Charente. This is a full-bodied, fruity and delicious cognac.
