Nose : Rich, complex. Delightfully liqueur-like (dried grapes, roasted pineapple), honeyed (acacia) and vanilla-led, the aromatic profile evolves over time into powdery (cocoa), medicinal (benzoin, balm), and resinous notes. With aeration, essential oils (savory, rosemary) bloom abundantly in the surrounding air.

Appearance : topaze.

Palate : Full-bodied, unctuous. Intensely fruity (apple, pear, banana, pineapple), the flavour profile is also impressively smooth. Over time, resinous notes of sugarcane and ginger create a subtle bridge to floral (lily, dandelion) and spicy (turmeric, ylang-ylang) registers.

Overall : Long, concentrated. Vegetal (fresh-cut sugarcane), herbal (tobacco, straw) and floral (tuberose), its heady character gradually asserts itself with disarming ease. In retro-olfaction, notes of tar, charcoal, Bourbon vanilla and star anise extend the tasting experience indefinitely. The dried residue in the empty glass reveals notes of artichoke heart and essential oils.
