The Hampden distillery in Jamaica built its reputation on highly aromatic rums marked by its famous esters. This 2010 vintage release is a LROK (Light Rum Owen Kelly), a “light” yet indulgent rum that picks up Hampden markers such as roasted pineapple, a slight volatile touch and fresh vegetal notes. The cask's contribution has allowed this colourful rum to mellow and gain in indulgence with more buttery and jammy notes.
