Nose : The nose opens with aromas of brown sugar, hazelnut praline and a touch of sweet, creamy maple syrup... Followed by notes of roasted orchard fruit with hints of candied orange. An assertive spicy character with tones of cinnamon, allspice and star anise. In the background, notes of toasted oak and aged leather add depth and complexity.
Palate : On the palate, bright fruit in the form of caramelized pears and orange marmalade. This round attack contrasts with the depth of dark chocolate and sweet spices that evolve into cinnamon, clove and cardamom. A subtle freshness supported by notes of candied ginger.
