The 15 matures exclusively in sherry casks. The quality of each cask is rigorously monitored and carefully scrutinized by our Master Whisky Maker, Laura Rampling, and only the highest quality casks are selected by hand. The casks chosen are mainly first-fill European oak. This selection has a significant influence on the distinctive taste of this bottling. From the age of 15, the orchard fruit notes of our distillate begin to refine and become more complex. Mild, intense spicy notes emerge from aging in old European oak sherry casks. These aromatic characteristics highlight The 15's combination of delicacy and boldness. Our Master Whisky Maker harmoniously blends these aromas to create a unique profile. The 15 illustrates our distinctive style: lively, fruity and elegant.

Nose : The nose opens with aromas of brown sugar, hazelnut praline and a touch of sweet, creamy maple syrup... Followed by notes of roasted orchard fruit with hints of candied orange. An assertive spicy character with tones of cinnamon, allspice and star anise. In the background, notes of toasted oak and aged leather add depth and complexity.

Palate : On the palate, bright fruit in the form of caramelized pears and orange marmalade. This round attack contrasts with the depth of dark chocolate and sweet spices that evolve into cinnamon, clove and cardamom. A subtle freshness supported by notes of candied ginger. In the background, The 15 expresses a soft, rich texture with gourmet pecan tones that envelop the palate.

Overall : A rich, soft, silky and persistent finish.
