Eminente Reserva is a rich and structured 7 year old rum with a remarkably long finish.

The result of unbounded know-how and personal investment, the Eminente rum created by César Martí is unprecedented. It draws its inspiration from 19th century Cuban rum, with its ample structure and rich aromas, to which it adds complexity through the art of blending aguardientes.
Aguardientes are particularly aromatic Cuban cane spirits, produced from molasses distilled at 75% vol. Aged in white oak barrels previously used for whisky, they are then blended with light Cuban rum, distilled to 95% vol. and aged a second time. Cuban rum as we know it is the result of blending aguardiente and light rum, the aguardiente providing subtlety and aromatic depth, while the light rum, with its alcohol content, gives it vitality. Focusing on these refined spirits, Eminente's Reserva is a new type of rum with 70% aged aguardiente, the highest proportion of any Cuban rum.
