Over the course of the 1980s, the twists of fate led Mathilde and Yves Gangloff to acquire vineyard plots on the steep slopes of Condrieu and Côte Rôtie, where the vines take root in schist and granite. As much as the terroirs themselves, it is their unique sensibility—now carried on by Elsa—that sets the estate apart, which continues to aspire to a discreet and confidential profile.
