For the occasion, Hernan Parra, Dictador's cellar master, blends with his father Dario exceptional rums from 1976 matured in American oak and Port casks.

Lalique expresses the beauty of the crystal waters of the Caribbean through the clear and frosted technique, signature of the house, which sculpts the light through the crystal decanter and brings each piece to life.

Dictador,
Colombian rum since 1913

The history of Dictador is steeped in the richness and colors of Colombia.

In 1751

Severo Arango y Ferro landed in Cartagena de Indias, a Colombian port city, to develop trade. As a man of power, he was soon called "El Dictador".

In 1913

Don Angel Nùnèz decided to establish his distillery, Destileria Colombiana, and to name his rum after "El Dictador", who left his mark on the city.

For three generations

The Parra family’s master blender have passed on the know-how of making and ageing Dictador rums from father to son. Hernan, the current master blender, is breathing new life into the house with the Fine & Rare collections. Through these editions, he explores new aspects of Dictador rum to bring out its quintessence.
