DAILUAINE 19 years 2007 1st fill sherry

Founded in 1852 in Speyside, Dailuaine is prized by enthusiasts for its full-bodied, malty and generously textured spirit. Less frequently showcased under its own name, the distillery produces a robust style built around ripe fruit, cereals and spice, providing an excellent foundation for extended maturation in sherry casks. Selected by Decadent Drinks for its Decadent Drams range, this 2007 vintage Dailuaine aged 19 years matured in a 1st Fill Sherry Cask. The generous influence of sherry enhances the natural depth of the spirit, developing layers of dark fruit, candied orange, cocoa and nuts. After almost two decades, the whisky retains Dailuaine’s characteristic weight while gaining additional roundness and complexity.
