Margarita recipe
Margarita is undeniably the emblematic tequila-based cocktail. Will we ever know its exact origin? That seems to be uncertain. However, the countless claims of paternity all seem to be lost in Mexico in the middle of the 20th century. But in the absence of a father, a certain Margarita Sames could have created it in Acapulco in 1948.
INGREDIENTS:
- 5 cl tequila
- 2.5 cl triple sec
- 2.5 cl lime
- 1 lime wedge
- salt
REALIZATION:
Shake ingredients in shaker with ice cubes. Frost the glass by running the lemon around the rim of the glass and dip the rim in the salt, then pour the mixture.
In true Mexican tradition, our Golden Promise bartender recommends Ocho Blanco Tequila.
You can also replace the Tequila with Mezcal in your recipe and enjoy a Mezcalrita.
