The result of the expertise of Ichiro Akuto, its creator, each new Chichibu work is always eagerly awaited. Yet another chapter was written with the release of the Chichibu Chibidaru, the Japanese equivalent of the “quarter cask”.
Nose : fruité, végétal. Évoque le caractère frais et printanier des whiskies irlandais. Note de poire Williams, de pêche et de fruits rouges (muroise, cassis, framboise). Le fruit de la passion émerge soudain du verre. Des agrumes, du jus de grenadia s’en suivent. En arrière-plan, une base plus céréalière, d’orge maltée, de chêne blanc (beurre frais et fraîcheur mentholée).
Palate : au degré, purement et simplement irlandaise. Pêle-mêle de cassis, de menthe, de buis, puis de notes de chêne blanc. La noix et la noisette sont encore vertes et laiteuses. La douceur persiste.
Overall : fraîcheur mentholée. S’éternise sur les fruits secs. Salivante.
