CHATEAU DE RAVIGNAN 2003 Version Française

Since the 17th century, the Château de Ravignan has produced its Bas-Armagnacs from the Ugni Blanc, Baco, Colombard and Folle Blanche grape varieties on its terroir of tawny sands and boulbène soils. At once exotic, deliciously rancio-laced, floral and finely spiced, this release distilled in 2003 – the year of the heatwave – proves to be a very subtle blend of freshness (citrus) and maturity of expression (beeswax).
