With this magnificent bottling from Caperdonich, we can speak of a specialty and a rarity. Caperdonich single malts are increasingly rare on the market. Most are available from independent bottlers. The distillery was located in Rothes, next to the Glen Grant distillery, closed in 2002 and demolished in 2010. Soft wood, citrus and light vanilla on the nose. Rum raisins, white grapes and a little honey spoil the palate. The finish is well-balanced and persistent. Beautiful and inviting for another dram.
