Artisanal cachaças differ from industrially produced ones in that they offer a wider aromatic range, featuring flowery, banana and freshly cut grass aromas. They also have a sweeter taste in the mouth. For more complexity and finesse, Engenho da Vertente rested for several months in vat before bottling.
