Heavily Peated
Nose : Islay, beyond any doubt. Precise notes of liquorice sticks. Ashes, chimney smoke. Becomes very medicinal, with an aroma of cloves. Peat-fired kiln and toasted malted barley. Notes of varnish. Hot tar.
Palate : concentrated peat! Alternates between tar, fuel oil, camphor, eucalyptus and menthol. Reminiscent of hot tyres.
Overall : lingering with warm asphalt and vegetal notes.
