ARDBEG 19 ans Traigh Bhan

Ardbeg is always where you least expect it! The distillery has decided to add a 19-year-old single malt called Traigh Bhan, matured in oak and Oloroso sherry casks, to its permanent range in 2019. The inspiration for this edition came from the beach of the same name on Islay, known locally as The Singing Sands. It's a very special place, with white sand that whistles when you step on it. However, the beach is full of traps that give it a very special character. Beneath its clear, placid waters lie sharp-edged volcanic rocks. The name was chosen as a tribute to the nuances of this single malt, to reflect the whisky's soft opening notes, which fade to give way to an intense smoky finish
