This whisky benefits from ageing in two different types of cask, allowing two distinct aromatic influences to blend harmoniously. The result is a smooth, creamy, fruity whisky that will appeal to the most discerning palates. First aged in American bourbon casks, it is then matured in Tawny Port casks from the Douro Valley in northern Portugal. This double maturation gives it exceptional richness and complexity. The aromas open with delicate notes of honey-poached pears, berry compote, dried fruit and creamy caramel. The subtly nutty finish rounds off this unique sensory experience magnificently.’
