The St. Kilian Signature Edition Seventeen is an exceptional Single Malt Whisky that carries the warmth and sensuality of the Caribbean. Made from 100% peat smoke malted barley (80 ppm) from the Scottish Highlands and double distilled in traditional copper Pot Still stills, it combines complex flavours of tropical fruits, warm oak spice, fine toffee, vanilla cream and subtle peat smoke. Its character is characterised by the sophisticated cask maturation: the whisky was matured in ex-rum casks from Barbados (10%), Jamaica (46%), Mexico (17%) and in rhum agricole casks from Martinique (27%), harmoniously combining exotic, smoky and elegant notes. The Signature Edition series from St. Kilian stands for limited bottlings with a unique cask combination and individual style, each of which emphasises special flavour profiles. This edition is limited to 4,398 bottles of 0.5 litres each, not chill-filtered and bottled without colouring, at 54.6% vol. and offers an intense, tropical-smoky taste experience for connoisseurs and gourmets.
