JURA 17 years Peated Second Murderer Elixir

"In recent years, this distillery has been producing peated malt, and this richly smoky character has been mellowed in oloroso sherry casks, bringing sandalwood notes and a herbal quality reminiscent of an amaro to the oily spirit. The peat smoke itself is linear and sharp, while the cask profile has created a magnificent setting for our second Murderer whisky." – Oliver Chilton. Elixir Distillers presents Act Two of the Macbeth series, a collection of forty-two whiskies, each embodying a character from Shakespeare’s tragedy. The Second Murderer is one of four island whiskies in The Murderers series. This single malt was matured in oloroso sherry hogsheads.
