Founded in 1840 in Rothes, at the heart of Speyside, Glen Grant is renowned for the finesse and freshness of its spirit. Its elegant style, built around orchard fruits, citrus and floral notes, is particularly well suited to extended maturation. Over the decades, deeper layers of yellow fruit, honey, wax and gentle spice emerge while retaining the delicacy that defines the distillery. Selected by Decadent Drinks as Chapter Thirty Eight of Whiskyland, this 1995 vintage Glen Grant aged 30 years matured in a 2nd Fill Bourbon Barrel. The restrained influence of the cask allows both time and distillate to take centre stage. After three decades, ripe fruit, beeswax and honey combine with vanilla and candied citrus in a delicate, vibrant and deeply mature profile.
