BLANTON'S Single Barrel #23 Edition 2019

Created in 1984 by one of the most emblematic master distillers in the world of bourbon, Elmer T Lee, Blanton's is named after Colonel Albert Bacon Blanton, who ran the distillery from 1921 to 1953. All the casks that have written the history of the first single barrel bourbon whiskey to be launched on the market come from the “H” cellar, which is very exposed to the heat in summer and the cold in winter, allowing optimum maturation. Bottled at natural strength, this version demonstrates throughout the tasting a generosity and luminosity of expression that pushes back ever further the boundaries of an aromatic and taste palette that is constantly refreshed by superb shady sequences.
