PORT ASKAIG Nouvelle Vague

This year, Port Askaig is offering a complex and indulgent Caol Ila made from three American hogshead casks distilled in 2012 and one new oak cask distilled in 2010. An exclusive experiment by Elixir Distillers' master blender Oliver Chilton, Port Askaig Nouvelle Vague is inspired by the 1960s movement that shook up the codes of the French film industry. The key element of this movement is the new oak cask, which gives this wonderful peated malt a surprisingly rich and indulgent profile. A new character for Port Askaig.
