Strongly inspired by the sea, this exceptional single malt has benefited from four decades of ageing and finishing in casks burnt with marine elements: wood from ships on climate expeditions, and seaweed from beaches. It presents soft, sweet, smoky flavours from which maritime accents break through to reveal its multiple aromatic layers.
