Aged 10 years, this Charentes pineau is made entirely from grapes grown in the Landier family’s vineyard. Similar to a white port, it can be enjoyed after a meal, or with cheese or dessert. Its 10 years spent in oak barrels lend it great complexity.
Tasting notes
Nose : Marked by notes of white flesh fruits (pear and peach). Then appear the notes of figs, walnut, honey of acacias and vanilla wood. Slightly oxidative, you will notice the aromas of rancio charentais.
Palate : A soft attack, this 10 year old pineau <br>evolves towards notes of grape and apricot to <br>reveal a great acidic freshness. You will discover aromas of old cognac, coffee and wood.
Overall : It will return to the Charente rancio with a magnificent oxidative palette like the great Sauternes or old vintage Ports.
