Description
Batch 3, the latest edition of the Cask Strength series, has a stronger smoky flavour than previous editions due to a higher proportion of Orkney peated malt. This single malt has been aged mainly in American and European first-fill sherry casks, with a small amount of second-fill casks.
Annual batch production for a limited release each year.
Tasting notes
Nose : Arômes de tourbe fumée et de chêne légèrement charbonné, équilibrés par des citrons glacés au miel et de l'anis écrasé.
Palate : Notes marquées de mangue mûre, de miel de bruyère et de crème de vanille fouettée, avec un soupçon de violette. Zeste de pamplemousse rose et notes de génoise fraîchement cuite.
Overall : Le goût fumé de la tourbe de bruyère offre une finale longue et marquée.
