Since it was founded in 2006, The Nectar, an independent Belgian bottler, has been searching for the best spirits to share with all enthusiasts. Initially focusing on whiskies of all origins, their passion then broadened to include other spirits, rum, armagnac, cognac and more recently calvados and grappa.
Tasting notes
Nose : Belle entrée en matière avec de l’ananas confit, de la pêche rôtie à la vanille ainsi que de la crème de noisette, et un soupçon de bois de santal.
Palate : Jolie liqueur fruitée et épicée, dans une démonstration assez droite et élégante.
Overall : Boisée puis très vite les fruits compotés reviennent, l’abricot notamment ainsi que de subtiles notes de fumée d’encens, de cannelle et de cardamome.
