The Dalmore Vintage 2003 is an 18-year-old single malt aged in bourbon-filled American white oak casks, followed by Rivesaltes, Matusalem sherry, Amoroso sherry and ex-bourbon casks specially selected for this blend. Carefully crafted and finely balanced, each single malt, available in limited quantities, takes its place in the Scottish company's "Vintage" collection. These perfectly aged whiskies are then beautifully blended to create a harmonious vintage: a rare single malt that reveals the unique soul of a year at The Dalmore.
Tasting notes
Nose : Manuka Honey, dark toffee and aged vanilla pods.
Palate : Warm honey, maple syrup and spiced dark fruits.
