Description

Decadent Drinks is an independent bottler of whisky and other fine spirits. Angus MacRaild - also author of the WhiskySponge blog - is the founder. His philosophy is quality, fun and not taking life too seriously. This quirky side can be seen both in his blog and on the labels of his bottlings with this sponge character in a wide variety of styles.
These bottlings, mostly single casks, are divided into different brands such as the Spongeverse, Equinox & Solstice and Equilibrium. The Spongeverse includes WhiskySponge, RumSponge, CognacSponge, ArmagnacSponge and WineSponge.

Tasting notes

Nose : Vibrant and fruity, with notes of honey, green fruit jam and olive oil.

Palate : Ripe yellow and green fruit, with notes of dried wax and flowers. Rich, fruity and textured, while retaining great balance and freshness.

Overall : Long, fruity, on dried flowers with pollens, crystallised honeys and waxes.
