Description
For this edition of Ardbeg Day, Ardbeg presents Spectacular, a breathtaking spectacle of flavors. For the first time in the distillery's history, this malt has been matured in rare port casks, then in classic bourbon casks. The result is an extraordinarily smoky, well-balanced liquid that brings out all kinds of special notes and aromas. The meeting of devilish sweetness and smoky peat, a spectacle of distillation and a true phenomenon.

Tasting notes
Nose : A fragrant, aromatic nose, with notes of lavender, vetiver and incense. This is followed by deeper notes of leather, almond and wax. A touch of water and the fragrance becomes woody, smoky and minty.
Appearance : Orange Couché du soleil
Palate : A salty mouthfeel leads to an explosion of smoky flavors: eucalyptus, salted caramel, smoked pecans, wood smoke.
Overall : A long final note of leather, caramel and a refreshing menthol sensation.
